Do I have to pay property taxes, I'm a disabled vet?
TAWANA'S ANSWER:
Each state offers tax exemptions to disabled veterans. All veterans in Connecticut who are eligible may receive a property tax exemption of $1,500 from the total assessed value of their property (you may receive additional exceptions if you are at or below a certain income level). I'd advise you to contact your local municipality’s Tax Assessor for more specific details.
