Federal law and state law governs the extent of what should be revealed about a property. CT state law requires that you disclose your knowledge of whether or not your property is located in a flood hazard area or in an inland wetland area. Do not lie by omission, fail to disclose or misrepresent any known factual information about the property. Honesty is always the best policy.
